I am currently a doctoral candidate at Eastern Michigan University. I have completed all required coursework (i.e., I am ABD or “All But Dissertation” in academic professional parlance). I completed my dissertation proposal and successfully defended it n June 2013, so I am currently conducting my research project. I am planning to graduate with my Ph.D. by the end of summer 2014.

My approach and professional training for academic analysis is very interdisciplinary. I am working as a doctoral fellow in information assurance through EMU’s College of Technology while completing my doctoral dissertation research. I am searching for a full time professional academic position in the fields of technology studies, new media studies, and women’s and gender studies. My goal is to transition to such a position once my fellowship and doctoral studies are completed in summer 2014.
