2011 SALT Conference

I was a presenter for the 2011 Interactive Technologies Conference sponsored by the Society for Applied Learning Technologies (SALT). This gathering was held in Reston, Virginia, USA, from August 17-19, 2011. The conference covers a wide variety of applications for interactive technologies including e-learning, mobile devices, and simulations and game-based education and training. The participants include many representatives from U.S. government agencies such as the Department of Defense, as well as people from business and education sectors.

My presentation was a very rough first draft of my eventual doctoral dissertation research topic. I have included a link to a YouTube video of my Power Point presentation below. However, I have not narrated it (not yet, anyway). Also, the actual presentation was 45 minutes. I set the time delay for recording the PPT slides to 10 seconds, so some of the text-heavy slides might require pausing the video if you want to read the sources carefully.
